Can you give us a brief background on yourself for those who might not be familiar with your work?
I guess I’m mostly known for owning Keg Media. We’ve been designing renderings and logos for people for 20+ years in the industry. Plus we do SEMA Build Management and take a lot of our own builds to SEMA every year. I’ve become known for the past six to seven years as one of the best show promoters in the industry. We throw some very successful and fan-favorite truck shows like Lifted Truck Nationals and Orange Beach Invasion.
Why did you create Summer Truckin Nationals? Any other shows you have created?
I have been wanting to do a show in Texas for like five years. The plan was to create something and start it in 2020, but then Covid hit, so we had to back off. We gave it another year to simmer down and decided 2022 was our year to make a statement. I already knew I could throw a truck show as I have been doing it for years. But I wanted to throw an experience; something people will remember and talk about. An event that if you missed it, you wished you didn’t. We created Summer Truckin Nationals and posted the dates on our Facebook just as a save the date kinda post. Someone else posted on there and said they were doing a new show that same weekend in the area, but they hadn’t announced anything yet. That person was Josh Miller from Maxxed Diesel. He called me up and we decided to partner up on Summer Truckin Nationals. Josh has a great industry following and so do we, so we figured it would be a great team.
What will make this show different from others?
The show takes place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas. Most know for being the home of the Dallas Cowboys. The event is from July 15th to 17th, 2022. That right there is different. There has never really been a big stadium-type event like we are doing. It’s a full 3-day event open to spectators all weekend, plus 2 nights of concerts. AT&T Stadium is an expensive place to host an event, but it’s worth it. The sheer amount of people all over the globe that know of “Jerry’s World” is enormous. The brand recognition alone is worth its weight in gold. The show is open to all trucks both lifted and lowered, SUVs, Jeeps, SXS and Big Rigs. Our VIP Registration is truly a VIP experience. VIP Trucks are hand-selected and voted on by a committee. Not just anyone can park in VIP. Our Premium Truck Registration is also limited, and even our General Truck Registration is still close to the stadium and not far away from everything like some events. Our American Force Concert Series has both VIP and General Admission. More about that later.
What can attendees expect from the show? What are the show highlights?
They can expect close to 2,000 trucks. Some of the nicest trucks they have ever seen in our VIP area and probably the best display of trucks at any event. The way we have this setup is second to none. Our American Force Concert Series is packed full of artists both nights. Friday night is headlined by international recording artists La Energia Norteña. Opening for them is Milicia del Rancho and Banda Reyna de Reynas and it’s all hosted by DJ Zeta. Saturday night’s headliner is country artist Chase Matthew, playing with Bailey Zimmerman, Sean Stemaly and David J.
We will be giving away $20,000 in cash to any participant or spectator over the age of 18. All they have to do to qualify is visit certain sponsors’ booths at the event and get their card stamped then turn it into our command center. It’s as easy as that! There are 10 drawings for $1,000 cash and one for $10,000 cash. They can also meet model Georjah! We will have 15 different food trucks on hand. Then there are close to 100 vendors with deals on everything from shirts to wheels and tires to full-blown builds. Of course, we are known for our awesome event shirts and hats that sell out every year. So don’t wait till Sunday to get yours, they will be gone!
What can show competitors expect?
Competitors can expect some stiff competition. We have scoured the country, hitting every show we can to promote and invite everyone we can. We have trucks already registered from 38 different states and Canada. This will show will be the experience of the year – we’re betting on it! They can also count on a lot of awards and not just cheap ones, either. We are known for going all out on our awards and this will be no different. Flog Industries is our Awards Sponsor, and we’re going to make them proud to have that title! We have two of the Best of Show awards both made from billet.
They will be modeled after the Super Bowl Trophy, but with a wheel on top instead of a football. We figured being at the stadium would be a great theme. But check out our Awards page at www.stntexas.com and see all of the awards we plan to give out. When it comes to registering, we’ve made it simple. Just go on the website and click the registration page. Choose your package and lock it down. When you pre-register, you will go through the registration lane according to the first initial of your last name. These lanes will run like a well-oiled machine. We will also have six lanes for those who didn’t pre-register. We highly suggest Pre Registration so you aren’t waiting in line so long. Right after registration check-in, you can hop in the Judging Lanes and get judged before ever entering the show. Our detailers are even set up in the same area so you can make sure your truck is on point. Vendors and VIPs will check-in at their own tent and both be escorted to their location after receiving their credentials. As I mentioned above, we also have two concerts. There is plenty for everyone to do!

Who are the top builders that will be attending?
Let’s just say we have some very heavy hitters coming out. Beto from onDgas will have his new build there. Skoop from SMG. Cummins Cowgirl will be debuting a new build. Bailey Zimmerman, one of our country artists will have his GMC there. We have massive support from Team Billet, Ground Zero, Level 7 and many other truck clubs.
