We caught up with one of the creators of Atlantic City Truck Meet (@AtlanticCityTruckMeet), Mark Wickline (@Mark_AtlanticCityTruckMeet), to check in to see what’s the latest and greatest going on at this year’s show!

What are you generally known for and your involvement in the scene? How long have you been in the industry?

I’ve worked for a few companies in the automotive industry over the past 20+ years. Mostly Marketing and Public Relations as well as Build Management.

What inspired you to create the Atlantic City Truck meet? Any plans for other shows?

There has never really been anything of this caliber in the Northeastern part of the United States. So when my business partners (Christopher Varner & John Klebaur) sat down with this vision in mind, we vowed to make it a top contender in the Truck Show Industry.

Yes, I have a few things in the works. It’s all about the right location, timing (so you don’t hurt another show that might be scheduled already), and relationships with other show owners to come together and work together. Without that, it makes it super tricky. But it’s all coming together, lol.

What makes this show different?

What makes this show different is first and foremost its location. Atlantic City, NJ, is like a mini Las Vegas on the Jersey Shore. We have casinos, a boardwalk, a beach, clubs and some of the finest dining on the east coast. The show itself is, in its own right, unique. We have builds in the northeast that has never been seen by the rest of the industry. The quality of builds we have at our event makes me incredibly proud to be a part of this great event.

Where is the show taking place and when?

Atlantic City Truck Meet takes place at an abandoned airport known as Bader Field in Atlantic City New Jersey on July 30th & 31st, 2022.

What can attendees expect from the show? What are the show highlights?

Attendees can expect an amazing array of some of the most incredible truck builds from the US and Canada. The best part is it is absolutely FREE FOR SPECTATORS!! Some of our show highlights are a full-blown food truck festival and beer garden, a burnout pit and dyno as well as music, bikini contest, monster truck rides and much much more.

What can show competitors expect?

Well, this year we did a couple of different things and one of the major things is we are having cash prizes for some of the best of show winners. We also added in a 6-foot-plus tall trophy for “King of the Show” with a full TIS Wheel mounted to it.

Who are the top builders that will be attending?

Some of the top builders in the industry that will be here include Skoop & Nikki from SMG, Rob from Plan B Fab, Brian of J&B Motorsports, Calvin of Calz Kustoms, Diego & Nick of Resurrection Fab, BK Fab, Tobins Detailing & Polishing, Dalton & Maddie of Dudes Fab Shop, Brian of Brian’s Motorsports, Cade of Diesel Truckin’ , and much, much more!!!!

Anything else attendees should look out for?

We have a couple of things up our sleeves, but you’ll just have to come to the show and find out!
