Kyle Freitas, of Valley Springs, CA, is no newcomer to the custom truck scene. In fact, he’s had at least three project vehicles featured in manufacturer’s booths at the SEMA Show – including last year’s show.

For his latest truck, a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali Duramax, Kyle called on Ryan Stepps at Forbidden Motorsports, in Modesto, CA - a company well known for building top-quality trucks, both for show and go.

“I had seen several of Ryan’s builds at past SEMA Shows, so I contacted him and we put together a plan for my truck that would feature my sponsors’ products, including Rolling Big Power (RBP), because it was scheduled to be in the RBP booth at SEMA,” Freitas details. Forbidden Motorsports has been in business for more than 12 years and during that time the company has built numerous show-quality project vehicles, as well as countless competitive off-road rigs.

“When Kyle contacted me we were already flat-out with other SEMA project trucks, plus our regular customers,” Stepps says, “but the Denali is a great platform to work with, and Kyle had some of the best sponsors in the business, so we took it on.

The result is a truck that can easily take home a show trophy or tackle tough terrain. When asked if he’d gotten the truck dirty yet, Kyle laughed and said no. “It’s strictly for show and I don’t want it to get messed up.”

Perhaps the main reason Kyle doesn’t want the truck damaged is because it will be featured in RBP’s booth again at the 2015 SEMA Show, with all new features and a new look.
