Carefully choosing products that not only fit the theme, but can also hold up on any terrain, the crew at Skyjacker went to work to find parts that would complement both their goals. “We have developed a number of product partners that we like to work with because we have used their products and know the quality,” she explains. “We chose the parts that fit the build, but we do stick with some quality build partners because we have to use the products in the field and we always want to be using the best of the best.”
Although known for numerous other builds (such as “Project Controlled Burn” and “Backwoods Sportsman” for Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson), this one is actually one their most “decked out extreme Jeeps” because of the Hemi swap and axles, Lee mentions. Working on and off it for two months prior to the 2015 SEMA Show (in addition to their other special SEMA projects), the Jeep is outfitted with about $100k in modifications and garnered lots of praise from the public. “It’s patriotic and it transcends a lot of demographics and people young and old have appreciated the build,” she adds.
The most recent event it saw was the 4Wheel & Off-Road’s Ultimate Adventure, which is a weeklong event where vehicles are really put to the test on and off the trail. “It came back with some fresh chips on the wheels as battle scars, but drove out of there which was a feat in itself!”
