The 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV was a huge year for custom trucks and Jeeps. The biggest automotive aftermarket expo in the world was held from November 5-8 and saw hundreds of new accessories and customizations made especially for lifted trucks and off-road Jeeps, in addition to some eye-catching show vehicles.
Since the Jeep Wrangler is the most popular SUV for customization, it was no surprise that it was one of the hottest display vehicles at the show. It was named the Hottest 4x4 SUV at SEMA for the fourth year in a row and lots of builders brought the heat in the Jeep category. Sky high Wranglers with monster wheel and tire packages were popular customizations, while many were adorned with all the latest and greatest off-road trimmings available on the market.
While the Jeep Wrangler reigned supreme in the SUV category at last year’s SEMA Show, the 2014 Chevy Silverado was the truck of choice. Display trucks were dressed to the nines in new products, including wraps, racks, bed caps, light bars and more. Besides the Silverado, the Ford Raptor was also a popular display vehicle.
